The Lost Lover

CHARACTER INFO

Thomas White is an original character from my gay erotic novel Devil's Collector [link] He originally comes from England, during the time of colonization. When his parents die, he learns that he has a brother in America. Thomas then sails to Jamestown (Virginia) to meet Jack Reynolds [link] Once they meet, they immediately know they are both gays. Jack is freaked out initially especially after realizing that he likes Thomas intimately. But later it's revealed that Jack's father is Thomas' step father. Hence, Jack and Thomas have no blood relation.

Being gay in 17th century is hard and dangerous. If anyone finds out you're gay, you'll likely end up being hanged in public for being a sodomite. Hence, when Thomas finds Jack, both treasure each other so much. However, one event of fiery passion gives out their secret. Thomas and Jack are captured by the homophobic townsmen. Thomas is the first to be executed. As the noose tightens around his neck, he says a silent goodbye to his boyfriend. To Jack's horror, Thomas is killed right in front of his eyes.

After Jack makes a deal with Devlin the Devil [link] he searches for Thomas' soul in Hell but he can't find it. He then guesses that Thomas must be in heaven.

Thomas' fate is left unknown even until the cliffhanger chapter 10. Originally, I intended to write a short series. But the more I wrote, the universe was expanded to included other demons and angels. Hence, Thomas' portion had to be cut. I do intend to re-introduce Thomas White in two other 'reincarnations': a demon and a 21st century guy. The search to find the missing lover shouldn't be easy The plot is still being planned because I have yet to continue writing it.

The model looks rather blurred because I force to zoom it. He's naked and I want to conceal his nether region. Yet, the entire composition is ruined if the model's position is placed in bottom. Hence, for the sake of balance, I had to zoom the model. That's why he looks rather blurred.

For Devil's Collector's glamor series, I give a title to the characters for the sake of dramatization, like God of the Lake, Ruler of the Wind, The Devil's Collector. For Thomas, because he's just a normal human being, I name him The Lost Lover. It suits the plot of my erotic novel because after he's hanged, he's lost. And even until the cliffhanger in chapter 10, Jack Reynolds still hasn't been able to locate Thomas' spirit.
